Inauguration of the Academic Year 2026/2027
Vistula University will officially inaugurate the new academic year 2026/2027 on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at 12:30.
The inauguration of the academic year is one of the most important events in the life of the academic community. It marks the symbolic beginning of another year of learning, teaching, research, development and building our shared academic future.
During the ceremony, speeches will be delivered by:
- Prof. Wawrzyniec Konarski, Rector of Vistula University,
- Prof. Krzysztof Celuch, Rector of the Vistula School of Hospitality.
The programme will also include the solemn oath-taking ceremony for students beginning their studies, the awarding of doctoral diplomas and the presentation of congratulatory letters to employees.
The inaugural lecture, entitled “Inspiring role of diplomacy: Creative diplomacy”, will be delivered by Ambassador Joanna Wronecka. The lecture will be held in English.
